Why become a sponsor?

There are estimated to be between 130,000 and 200,000 people with a Dutch heritage in New Zealand. Of these, 40-50,000 are classed as 1st generation Dutch.

Many have lost their "Dutch Connections" or want to explore and experience their Dutch heritage. We need to capture the hearts of new immigrants and also become more relevant to the 2nd and 3rd generation Dutch descendants, and provide opportunities that resonate with this target audience.

We do not focus solely on the Dutch Community. We also acknowledge the contribution Dutch settlers make to New Zealand, and aim to promote a wider understanding of this.

Wherever possible, our events - Dutch in origin and/or interest - are targeted at and promoted to the wider New Zealand community.
